As the newest of the Sandhills Day Nurseries, and now operating from brand new premises, the home from home feeling we have created in our setting is one of our best points. Although we provide plenty of space for your child to learn and develop, with our spacious new environment now enabling us to care for 70 children in any one day, most of our families continue to choose us to care for their child because they like the cosy, family feel of our Nursery. We have also just received the wonderful news that Ofsted have given us the grading of Outstanding in our most recent inspection.

The setting itself is situated in a beautiful village location, with local parks and public amenities such as the library within walking distance. We are therefore able to create the perfect learning environment for your child by taking advantage of such facilities and combining them with the bright and interesting Nursery rooms our setting has to offer. Each room proudly displays our children’s artistic creations on the walls and offers a vast variety of resources arranged to encourage each child to explore and investigate.

Each member of our small staff team are caring, well qualified and have a genuine interest in and passion for childcare; All of us enjoy getting to know you and your child as you join our nursery and thrive on watching the children in our care grow and learn during their time with us.

Our activities are varied and well planned and by incorporating each child’s individual needs and interests in our planning we offer a unique and exciting learning experience for each child. We encourage you and your families to help us achieve this by providing an insight into your child’s home life, from small things such as telling us something your child has achieved at home or bringing in a favourite toy, to getting involved in activities within the setting.

Our setting is not only secure, friendly and welcoming, but most often described as happy.
