Sandhills Day Nursery at Barnt green is a 46 place nursery which is a converted house. The nursery has a very homely feeling and operates from four main rooms.

 

The nursery is situated in a small village ‘Barnt Green’ and is in walking distance of the local shops, school, park, train station and is 1.5 miles from our Alvechurch Nursery.

 

The nursery offers a safe, caring and happy environment with an experienced staff team who work closely with the children and parents/carers to meet the children’s individual needs and build close relationships.

 

The rooms are set up for the children to have access to a variety of areas and equipment on a daily basis, this provides more opportunity for children’s choice. Activities are planned around the children’s interests which are further enhanced from celebrations, parent’s input and observations to meet the children’s next steps.

 

The outdoor area is a good size and offers plenty of space which is separated into sections offering safety tarmac, bark and slabbed area for all outdoor play all year round. The environment provides stimulating equipment and activities for the children such as climbing equipment, sand, water, writing/book area and a nature garden.
