Sandhills Day Nurseries are all about helping to give children the best start in life. Here at Codsall I believe by working together as one big family we can achieve this; from the moment new families join the nursery they always comment on the family atmosphere about the place.  Our surroundings are an excellent feature of the nursery; we have a large outdoor play area which is separated into fun and exciting sections, boasting new equipment to enhance children’s gross motor skills.  Inside the nursery we are very lucky to have large, spacious rooms well equipped with toys and resources. 

 

Activities are planned around the children’s own interests which are further enhanced when parents inform us about their weekends, so that we can discuss this with their child and other children in the nursery. We encourage parents to bring in photographs from home and also make notes of any special achievements. These are then displayed in our main entrance on the Special Achievements Board for all to see. We always like to share memorable occasions and celebrate them with you and your child.

 

Our staff are carefully selected to meet the high expectations we have when working with children. We look for people who are not only qualified but people who have a natural passion for working with children who enjoy spending time getting to know them and finding out those little special things that they do. We encourage all staff to consider to develop their personal learning and always offer courses and further qualifications.

 

I believe to fully appreciate our nursery and see what we have to offer a show round is certainly required, whereby you can meet the children and greet staff and children alike and explore the facilities.
