Who we are

Sandhills is one of the Midlands most trusted day nurseries with premises in Alvechurch, Barnt Green and Codsall. Privately owned and fully independent, all Sandhills nurseries are run by qualified and experienced staff with a passion for childcare.

Each one of our nurseries boasts a beautiful garden area offering grass, wildlife, rubberised safety tarmac to play on and all kinds of outdoor equipment, providing an opportunity for structured and free outdoor play for all age groups.

What we do

According to recent research, children learn more in the first five years of their lives than at any other, mainly through play.

Our prime aim is to nurture happy, confident children who are interested in everything they see, hear and do, helping them to develop active, enquiring minds.

We educate young minds but at the same time, make sure that every child in our care has plenty of fun! For smaller babies we provide a caring, homely and secure environment with mind-engaging toys and activities to aid their development in all areas.

Our Staff

We are only too aware that when you place your child in one of our nurseries, you are placing your trust in our staff. That is why all our employees are selected very carefully on the basis of their qualifications, experience and their ability to interact with young children.

We are proud to state that all of our staff are qualified and experienced personnel who are committed to responding to the needs of children, staffing the nurseries and who possess a natural ability to show love, affection and understanding of very young children.

We regularly offer workers a host of opportunities to expand and maintain their current professional knowledge, enabling them to keep abreast of current trends on childcare. Training is actively encouraged and staff are frequently informed of all opportunities available to them.
